Shhh...testing in progress

Friday, March 27, 2009 at 2:26 PM

Over the course of the next few weeks, you might notice a few changes to Google Finance. We will be running some experiments on the look and feel of our site, based on an accumulation of user research and feedback. They will only be visible to a small number of random Google Finance users. (In case you're wondering, experiments are selected randomly, so we can't give you any advice for how to get in!)

It's pretty normal for us to run this kind of test, as we're always working to improve the experience of using Google Finance . In fact, experiments like these are a cornerstone of Google's development process - here's a post on the Official Google Blog explaining this practice for our search results.

Are you people on drugs or just taking lessons from Yahoo... Just give my old interface back!!!

Geeez get somebody that knows something about systems engineering and knows how people use this site on the team...

IDEASeth said...

This is terrible. I am outraged. Your left column takes up so much space that each entry in the portfolio now takes 2 lines. That makes it much harder to read and now even a short portfolio scrolls off my screen. And the left column is not real useful.

Bring the old interface back. BTW how do I opt out of being a non-volunteer tester..

Schultzter said...

I guess I've still got the old interface cuz looks like usual - and I LIKE IT!!!

But these experiments mean we'll finally be seeing dividend & yield information for Canadian stocks?

What about API access to the cash in our portfolio? For Cash and Cash-linked transactions.

Dion Loy said...

Sorry about the portfolio rows on non-widescreen displays. We'll be fixing that (and other issues that come up) this week.

elham said...

I wish people in google would appreciate the desire of google finance users and give the opportunity to use the old interface as well. Would be grate if point out such a link if already exists!!!!
I am about to switch and find a replacement. I do not know what is wrong with the currecnt style of interfaces. First it was BBC who changed the interface to this "aggregated style", which stoped me from reading the news from their websites, as there are plenty of replacement available. Now it is time to switch from Google finance for me.

Schultzter said...

Does anyone have a screenshot of the new interface? I'd like to see what it looks like.

The big advantage of GFin is the API. I wish other portfolios had an API!

Christopher said...

I want my old interface back!

Chad T said...

I don't like that I have to refresh my portfolio page to see if the stock price has changed any. I did like the old interface a little better but am not against change. Maybe you can give each account the option to have the new or old interface?

brian said...

You can get the old interface back by deleted your cookies and cache.

.::Chris::. said...

Terrible.

Harder to read, the "other currencies" listing is at the bottom in a stack-view format and those long news-article threads hurt my eyes.

No wait, maybe i just need glasses. Nope, they really do hurt my eyes.

que said...

@Schultzter - info on the new layout is here: http://www.google.com/support/finance/bin/answer.py?answer=141381

On my portfolio page, some of the colors that should be green are red instead. For example, some positive values in the gains column are colored red. Also, on the portfolio value totals line, all totals are Red even though most of the totals are positive.

I guess the left column navigation works well on wide screen monitors, but it seems to waste a lot of space on square shaped screens.

My suggestion would be to have an option for a toolbar navigation system (like Google Docs) with drop down menus.

Brad said...

Not related to the testing, but I can't compare stocks across different markets. For example, if I try to overlay TPE:2376 on INDEXDJX:.DJI - not even possible.

"Ticker symbol "TPE:2376" unknown "

Trey said...

Put it back like it was. This layout is horrible and takes up too much screen space...

I was able to track all my stocks in my portfolio on one screen and now I have to scroll up and down constantly and then side to side as the screen has been made wider.

Please put it back the way it was. It was not broken, there was no need to fix anything..

Joe said...

I hate this new interface!! Really, how can I get the old interface back??

Change is good, but not on something I have accustomed myself to using every day. I want out!!

OMEGASTOCKS said...

hey GOOGLE...if you want to change then add more info and tools but do not change the interface that people been working with for long time. Do not make the mistake of microsoft...changing the interface just for the hick of it to and killing the content.
Please we love google and we do not want to go to another finance site.....bring back the OLD INTERFACE....thanks

snapshooter said...

I have some problems with this new interface.
1) Details of short-sold securities are not fully displayed. Only their symbols, last prices and changes are there. Share, cost basis, gain... columns are empty.
2) Name column is removed. This column is helpful when viewing a "watching" portfolio containing a lot of stocks for example.
3) During the first few days of this new interface, in the main GF page, at the bottom of each portfolio there is a row showing the portfolio value and the day's gain. It is very helpful since I don't have to click on a portfolio just to see this value. Unfortunately, this feature has disappeared. Could you please bring it back ?

Besides these issues, I actually prefer the look of the new interface. I just wish I could custom different views (Overview, Fundamentals, Performance) for each portfolio.

UUUHHHH, I thought the change was for good. If I knew they were experamenting on me I would have taken the opertunity to see if they finally changed the stuff I go to other sites for, like STOCASTICS, MACD, NON-AVERAGED HISTORICAL CHARTS. I use GF because all the info in on one page, and all the info is always in the same place. I like the additional detail, but I need it all on one page, with tabed browsing, okay? Keep up the good work.

Ralph said...

Never mind the interface, there's a HUGE bug in the data on Google finance UK. Share prices are assumed to be in British pounds (GBP), whereas in fact they are quoted in British pence. This means some things like market capitalisations are out by a factor of 100, portfolio values are out by a factor of 100, and so on.
How can Google have got this so wrong for so long? I can only assume it is because there is no official channel for reporting bugs to Google finance, seemingly.

cris said...

I have been trading and investing for ~10 years. I liked the old site better. the new site gives you less room for the chart. not goog.

Matt said...

I think the new layout is nice. Like anything, it is a little annoying at first but then after you use it a while you realize it is superior to the old way. Thanks.

driftking27 said...

In reply to Matts latest comment: '...How can you say it is nice when you CAN'T track the daily price of one's investment in that chosen share!

Mr. Thomas A. Anderson said...

I like the new layout even if it does look like yahoo finance.

But there is one legacy issue that irks me. 1) your dividend data feeds are weak. Anything associated with an ETf or CEF never seems to show.

Also, you don't/didn't seem to track Asia and Europe overnight in real time/delay (US centric). The new 'other indexes' feature might offer this, but I've not had a chance to see it in action.

Glenn said...

An issue I have recently noticed is that it seems to get dividends wrong on dual listed Canadian stocks.

For example, if I get it to quote Bank of Montreal which is listed on both the TSE (Canadian) and on the NYSE; it displays the prices appropriately (US$29.02 on the NYSE and CDN$35.61 on the TSE at the moment), but shows the dividend as being $0.70 on both graphs. That dividend is clearly not true for both of them. The dividend needs to either be converted or have the currency indicated.

Kickstart70 said...

Somewhat related to Glenn's comment above, even though I have NYSE:TTM in my portfolio and once I am directly in Google Finance I have no problem, if I click on TTM in my portfolio from my Google Homepage, I always end up viewing Totem Minerals (CVE:TTM). The link from Google Homepage (http://www.google.ca/finance?client=ig&q=TTM) doesn't specify the exchange of the stock in my portfolio.

Profit said...

Can't tell you what your previous interface looked like so can't critique if better before or now.

However, nothing about your current 'vision' stimulates viewer appetite for research/information.

Your interface does not 'jump off the page'. Where is your imagination?

Also... Today as the Markets opened your opening page referred to info that JPM brought down the markets. That information was true for about 5 minutes but the markets reversed and opened higher. Your opening Financial page was erroneous and as I repeatedly refreshed the page and wondered how long it would take your staff to correct the storyline. I gave up refreshing and decided to write this comment.

gulicious said...

I was wondering what are some possible ways to allow dividend re-investing without going between my brokers data and re entering in fractions of stock and prices (and making sure to not cash-link it). Can this be a possible feature or unlikely?

- In the market trends box I would like to know if I could have flexibility, perhaps having it show the top 10 in each category or create my own categories that show up in that neat tabbed interface. The trends are great and I appreciate that they are for 1BN market cap + stocks but I think a little more flexibility would be helpful. Any possibilities there?

Edwin said...

Does the new site show the daily gain as an amount AND a percent? I truly, truly dislike how the current site doesn't show daily gains as a percent.

mw3 said...

I can't update the portfolio since last Friday. Does that caused by the ongoing test? Thx

while yahoo has less 'interactivity' with its charts (i cannot click/drag and zoom) like google, they have some bigger charts. I would like a chance to play with a google finance chart that is full screen, or at least able to be viewed with size options.

Ive noticed that you no longer publish historical prices on mobile versions of Google Finance. This is one tool that I greatly appreciate on the PC. Any chance of re-inserting this tool to the mobile versions? I have an iphone and the historical prices tab does not show up. As a result, I usually use Yahoo finance mobile. But I do prefer Google Finance for everything else.

The Google Finance toolbar button now links differently. I live in Belgium and there is no finance.google.be before it used to link to finance.google.com. You get a "could not find page".

I would prefer to use finance.google.com since I am from the US. Will there be a way to change where the button links to or if no page exists to default to google.com.

You need to change your associated domain to be www.google.com in your toolbar settings!

How?
Go to Toolbar Settings > Options > Search box Settings > Use Google Site > United States of America (.com)

Don't forget to save.

Now your Toolbar is set for .com, and your Finance link should direct you appropriately.

Feature Suggestion: when I click on a stock's ticker on the next page I see the trend. In the top right of the trend box I see the dynamic date, price, volume for past dates (changes as I run my mouse over the trend). It would be great to see the closing value of the S&P for the same date. (or select Dow, Russel, etc) [converting and superimposing a % trend is not the same information]

This is outrageously evil and broken design (as another comment asked, 'are you trying to be like yahoo or something?').

1. It is unethical of google to 'randomly' select people to be guinea pigs - why not be nice and ask people to volunteer as beta testers? Some of us make our living trading stocks and don't appreciate this kind of unexpected abuse.

2. The 'feedback' link for those of us poor guinea pigs has no proper bug reporting interface - you don't even want to know what browser we are using? (I told you anyway but got no reply for my efforts).

3. The interface is very buggy (in Opera v. 9.64, at least):

A. I can no longer see even the basic table of current stocks/prices in my portfolio anymore!

B. The 'Performance' tab is always selected - if I click on any other tab, such as 'Overview' it does not change tabs but simply scrolls left or right a little.

The only info that is displayed is (from left to right columns):
'Recent quotes'
'Portfolio related news'
'Events'

Just give me back my basic info on what is in my Portfolio!

4. Very bad waste of screen space - the left column is useless and forces me to scroll horizontally (if there was anything other than 'news' worth scrolling to, that is).

This is sad.
Google used to have the best display of stock info on the web, in my opinion. Looks like the lunatics have taken over the asylum now.

Myke said...

If I have multiple portfolios it is impossible to change the order that they appear in the right column. Once they are setup, they are fixed. Only way to re-order the portfolio groups is to delete all and start over. Please fix this. Thanks.

Why do all quotes track in real time EXCEPT the DOW? S&P does (sorta) as well as NASDAQ.

I didn't mind the new design/layout. Sorta sad I lost it after deleting my cookies (Firefox does this daily).

Please everyone take note:

If you want changes to Google Finance, you need to take action! Posting feedback not related to the new interface (like UK calc errors, and dividend miscalculations) will not be resolved.

If you would like to suggest a feature, you can use this form: http://finance.google.com/support/finance/bin/static.py?page=suggestions.cs

I prefer to post my suggestions to the Google Finance group on Google Groups here: http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Finance

Recently I posted a suggestion (http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Finance/t/82015dba378e8a7e) regarding the option to Show & Hide positions. By posting this to the group, it allows users and moderators to interact on a topic, and can foster 2-way communication.

Long live Google Finance!

I really like it, using the three tables makes everything easier to read.

I am not understanding how some have such negative opinions. It is a cleaner and less complex visualization. The old interface was boring and... well white... Change takes people out of their comfort zone and to some it will disrupt more then others.

Guaranteed that if this layout stays for months or even years and you switch back it will upset the same people.

Eversor said...

Well I for one love the new interface, even though I don't have it. Sat and played with a friends that has it,.. and it's spiffy! keep up the good work!

gulicious said...

I like this new stuff. A lot more 'technical' if the user is so inclined. I love ajaxy, snappy pages like this. Please allow more room for hiding, removing, adding stuff. Perhaps a drag/drop interface like G-mail has recently added in Labs.

Also, I have a widescreen monitor so I don't know how this would look to someone else, but the top of the page with the chart of the 3 major indexes is the same size as the old... it seems like it could fill 2/3 wider space in that area for me. Could this flash be customizable for screen size, to fit it in there nicely?

@Volcano: My guess would be that your computer at work is not using a compatable web browser. Try the latest version of Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. If you still can't see it while running one of those browsers on your work computer, it may be blocked by your administrator with an internet filter, or security settings.

Wow. Lots of negative comments here, but primarily people stating they like the old one better. Not much substance to the complaints. As others have suggested, if you don't like it, delete your cookies.

I, for one, love the new interface. The ability to add multiple technicals, plot feeds and use both Candlestick and OHLC chart types is really fantastic. I really like the ability to choose Most Recent Quarter and Most Recent Annual from the Related Companies list. I also like the small chart in the right-hand corner showing the performance of the stock you're viewing against the Dow, S&P500 and Sector in which the stock is grouped. Awesome.

I do not like, however, that the rows in the portfolio view are so far apart. It is a pain to scroll up/down even on portfolios with <20 stocks.

I see that the new google finance page is better and better. Switching back and forth to old and new interface is the only one serious missing option for the traders. If google will build a link for switching those two interfaces as soon as possible, that will be very helpful for our confusions. This is all about money. "One day, old ... the other day, new ..." is like playing the games. "Shhh...testing in progress" is totally weird! Again, this is all about money matters.

1. Is there a way to edit the view more in Google Finance? I'd like a better way to filter the message boards (b/c they are covered with spam).

2. I'd like a way to display option quotes/chain also if that's allowed in my personal portfolio.

3. I'd like a better way to edit news feed for my personal portfolio. Some important stories are missed while some irrelevant ones are added.

Thanks! Please keep up the so far so good work!

Is there a limit on the number of portfolio transactions? Is there a premium fee based service that allows for more transactions to be enterred and tracked in Portfolios?

Hi David,

Yes, there's a limit to how many transactions you make in a portfolio. Each portfolio can hold up to 200 transactions each.

See Help Center article:

This is across the board. We don't offer a fee for a premium service.

Ok seriously formatting is one thing but incorrect math is another. At the start of the year I entered one of my portfolios at $67,550.43. As of yesterday my YTD gain $0.74. Total % gained 109.51%. Someone over there is having issues with decimal points. I think you've assumed all gains in dollars and not in cents. I care less about format as correctness of numbers.

paulo morphius said...

The new interface has some good points and some negative points.

Good:
1. It allows more modularity between the layouts.

2. Related companies field is really nice. As an added feature I'd like to be able to add/screen firms from that list.

Bad:
1. It appears that after-hours quotes are no longer listed? Please add them back. They are useful.

2. The mini-charts that compare the shapes should have a zoom feature.

3. The general layout of the charts and info wastes a lot of space. I wish I could sketch a more favorable layout for you. Let me know if this is possible. =)

4. The high-low of the day should auto-update.

5. Ex-div dates should be shown as well as div pay dates. Both should be on the calendar as they are pretty important.

6. The market summary is TOO truncated. It should have a scroll bar so I can scroll up and down to see ALL today's headlines.

7. The portfolio layout wastes a lot of space. It should ideally have a zoom feature or return to the way it is. IMHO users don't want something bigger; they want to be able to better manipulate and compare information.

8. Delay/disclaimer asterisks are redundant and annoying. I'm sure your lawyers are making you do it, but it clutters the appearance. Put the disclaimer someplace clear but out of the way.

9. Under discussions, I wish I could censor some users across all Google finance b/c they are mass spammers. Some ordinary (non-spam) threads I've already read I should be allowed to block as read a la e-mail.

10. Each link for a security provides all the corporate mumbo jumbo. Google is better off providing a single link summarizing all company data so that someone who wants it can easily find it, but everyone else doesn't have all that (generally useless) information wasting valuable space in the page.

I appreciate all that Google is trying to do to make Google Finance better, but a lot of works needs to be done. I'll continue to give feedback. Thanks.

Does the new interface still auto-refresh (in other words do the stock prices change without having to refresh the page?) Mine did not. Is this a "feature" or do I need to change my settings. I just want to be able to monitor my stocks without manually refreshing the page

I don't like the face I can't see the Related Companies listed below the chart. I really liked that feature to quickly compare how my stock was performing against it's peers. Even when you click the Industry link you see less related companies plus other stats that are not relevant (IMO).

I like the old one better...

@Charles There already is a GData API for GFin but it's not complete - i.e.: you don't get everything you see on the screen, like cash linked transactions.

Check-out http://code.google.com/apis/finance/

I loved the candle sticks as well as all the technical functions that i could plot. I would be using google finance much more if all those options were available
It is a nice try and I can't wait for new finance to roll out. Are there any expected release dates on this ?

Ummm i started noticing some changes today with the banner at the top, looks a bit diff; meh looks better and more professional than the old one.

However the asc/desc sort feature of the columns is not working in Chrome, nor are the ads showing (yay !), nor are the charts. Everything works fine in IE8.

Now really honestly GOOG pull it together. Why would GOOGLE Finance not work with GOOGLE Chrome? That is fail on an epic scale.

I am used to Chrome not working with some .aspx pages that have functionality, but if you guys are using .asp all i can say is shame on you and FAIL. Hopefully this is just temporary or you will come out and blame it on Flash; either way lets finish the job GOOG.

I had the new interface when I used chrome while logged into my google finance page. I must say at first I did not like it, but I also did not have enough time to get use to it or try it out. I think you should offer the ability to change back to different themed interfaces if possible. I'm always open to trying the new interfaces in the future. Kind Regards

tech_sick said...

I got up in the morning with an idea of trading few stocks and saw that I can not even see the charts. [:()] I have tried on IE, chrome but no luck as such.

I would suggest to have more accurate functionality of back button, it should not give my previous page but also give me exactly to the place on the page where I was before. I hate scrolling down to my previous page from where I clicked before.

If there is something you can do about charts then its fantastic. May be allowing user an check box option to draw trend lines for a particular stock.

There is one link broken in beta also. If you click go on more discussion link on any stock and click on BIG top left icon to google finance, it takes me to igoogle page which I think it should be google finance home page.

tech_sick said...

@ Google Finance Team
For me clearing cache works only once, if I again check the other stocks, charts disappears.
I think clearing cache may be a solution but to be honest I do not want to chose that options. I am a chrome fan and I do like to get my links by one key press (caching) which capability others like IE, FOX does not show. If I use that option there I will loose most of my things that I liked to get in one shot.

Hi, I am a value investor and I love Google Finance!!
Thanks you guys for all your hard work to help us, investor.
There are some suggestion to improve for stock screening
which will help me and other people as well. If you add this feature,
believe me, you will attrack more investor to google finance.

1. You should add the criteria of price/(annualize earning of the last five years)
This means criteria = price/(eps_currentyear + eps_lastyear + eps_yearbeforelastyear + ... ), do the addition in the denominator for 5 years
This will give some approximate the P/E ratio which does not depend
only on the current year. This is because, if a very good firm has done
extremely well but current year. The P/E ratio will misinteprete this
firm.

2. You should add price/book value ratio. This will give some good indicator
which many investor uses.

3. There is one criteria which is crucial for any business, ROIC
which is net income/(long term debt + equity) this will tell if the
business is capital intensive or not. If you can do this like you do
for return on equity over five years, that will be great!

The only competitive advantage that I use Google screen right now is because
there is a P/E of five years over. If you add these features I suggest, I will
stick with google finance forever!!! Hope you get my ideas.

What happened to the technical analysis that you could add to the charts? can you allow for a separator/comment row within a portfolio. As an example, I may have a portfolio called transport which would have a bunch of airline, shipping and train operators stocks. But rather then create 3 portfolios I would prefer to seem them all in the single portfolio but with the ability to add a comment to separate them into groups, e.g.

**comment:Airline stocks
Delta Air Lines
Air France – KLM
**comment:shipping Stocks
Teekay Corporation
Frontline Ltd. (USA)
**comment:train bus operators
FirstGroup plc
TOKYU CORPORATION

I just wanted to leave a follow up post and state that for the last week or so Gfinance has been working fine for me. The "clear cookies" fix was not working i would have to continually do it after every page refresh. This was fixed with whatever update was done to Chrome.

I have not noticed anything different other than "finance" is written in a different font, other than that everything else is the same and that is just fine by me.

My only other hope is that we will get accurate dividend info for ETFs and foreign stocks because i currently have to use Yahoo Finance to get that info. Interactive charts and candlestick option would be nice, but are not as necessary for longer term investing.

All in all Gfinance is nice, clean, and lightweight; which is what i need it to be, but it would be nice to see continual upgrades and added functionality made to it.

I'm all for experimenting with new ideas. But why not add a little drop down menu in the upper right of the screen where a user can select which interface they want to use. Also give users a place to comment on the current interface.

This way if a specific user wants to help google give them the best interface they can review each in turn and give google free input.

Then if a user just wants to get their information quick with an interface they already know they can do that too.

Even with this option you can still randomize the initial interface someone sees.

I don't know if these problems are caused by these tests, but for a week I have not been able to enter transactions. I get "SERVER ERROR: The service you have requested is not available yet. Try again in 30 seconds." So do several others on the discussion board. Also, The Overall Return column now has 0.00 were the holding currently has no owned stock. Finally, why does this column disappear when you enter a transaction on the Performanc page? Why don't you monitor the discussion boards?

Rob Grothe said...

I've read that Google has, on occasion, intentionally added small delays to their site to examine how it would affect the volume of search queries.

Perhaps the goal of this experiment is to see how much annoyance loyal users of Google Finance will tolerate before switching to another site.

It's working. I've started using Yahoo Finance after losing Recent Quotes and Market Top Stories functionality on my desktop at work. I REALLY liked these functions and hope they will return soon. This experiment has gone on for at least 2 weeks now.

Until I saw this blog, I couldn't understand why I still had full functionality on my home computer, but not on my work computer. I tried updating Explorer and other things in frustration.

Not happy!

I love the new interface. I know it was kind of shocking at first, trying to figure out where everything was but after test driving it I think it is quite an improvement. Keep up the good work Google.

I was wondering when we were going to be able add candlestick plots and moving averages, glad to see this and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the chart settings can be saved so I don't have to reset this every time with a new stock or between sessions.

In terms of suggestions, I would like to see more up to date information regarding Dividend, Yields, P/E, etc. Maybe this is already happening, it just seems that in the past Yahoo had more recent information.

I think the new interface is a more efficient way of presenting the information once you get use to it.

I used to go back and forth between Yahoo, Reuters, Google, Bloomberg, WSJ, etc., now with the direct link to Reuters ratios for each stock maybe I won't have to go back and forth as much.

- The Charts on the new interace were BETTER (i LOVE the technical indicator options, PLEASE GIVE THEM BACK!)

- Graphical representation of portfolio performance would be awesome

- Fullscreen Option for Charts

- The left hand navigation column was good, some people might have smaller screens though so we should be able to turn it "off"

- Overall it had more information to look at on one screen, but finance isn't exactly color by numbers, so you need to see the whole picture

First of all I would like to congratule you for the excelent improvement made in google finance. I mean it, really!! It's completely different and has a lot of new stuff very useful!

Finally, I would like to suggest another feature that I think it could be a major improvement. It is the existence of pre-defined alarms for each stock/portefolio. For instance, an alarm that could be sent to the gmail or presented at the google finance main page related to a stock that surpassed a predefined value. But, once you already identifed that new feature I'm sure that in short term it will be implemented. :)

Nice job, and congratulations.

I wish the portfolio was on the left side and the recent quotes was on the right. It seems like the recent quotes spot is more important (next to the menu, etc). Or move the advertisement (like thats going to happen).

Also we need the ability to keep things minimized. If I minimize a section and refresh the screen, it comes back (and I don't want that to happen).

I wish you were able to move sections by dragging and dropping. This technology is used for gmail with the new labels features and igoogle. Hope its implemented here too.

Overall I like it, and especially the daily percentage for my portfolio.

Well i had the new interface today when i got home :D overall very nice.

I like the shiny new layout and all the additional info on individual charts and the ability to interact with charts... BONUS ! You have some nice stuff going on here Gfinance team, keep up the good work. This layout and the additional functionality and info is a huge upgrade in the right direction, please make it permanent.

A few gripes, first off please please please get a feed that gives accurate dividend info for ETFs and foreign stocks, if you do nothing else other than this i will use Gfinance forever. Also i think the left sidebar needs to be layed out long ways across the top and the "recent quotes" and "recent activity" sections need to be closeable. I understand a lot of people use it but i dont and it would be nice if my screen was useable at the immediate left side and my additional stuff off to the right. Again please get everything off of the left side, or make it an option so that users can layout their sections how they want them, it will make people a lot happier because everyone has their certain "way" that they like things.

All in all, nice work GOOG i am impressed.
