I would like to arrange sectors by price performance over the last 6 months or last 12 months as Dailygraphs provides
http://www.dailygraphs.com/service/overviewIG.asp

Also there are 197 sectors there.

Then I would like to see stocks in each industy sector or group which are making new 52-week highs in price.

Please contact me agrawalavinash1@yahoo.com if I can provide more feedback.

Hello Google Finance, Being a successful investor for 9 years, I can say :

Final aim for Google Finance should be to provide fundamental and technical data like Dailygraphs provides :
http://www.dailygraphs.com/

You can tour it at http://www.dailygraphs.com/tours/GraphTour.asp

Please contact me agrawalavinash1@yahoo.com if I can help. I can volunteer 20hrs per week for Google Finance, and am a Stanford management grad

. I also have a personal finance website http://stocks-artofliving.50megs.com

I am looking for a financial gadget for the google sidebar. It's really mind-boggling to me that there are no good ones--certainly none offering charts of even the major US equity indexes. A finance gadget for the sidebar would be great as then I could us my sidebar/desktop to replace my homepage entirely.

Is there one in the works, at least?

Dear Team,

1) Can I customize the iGoogle or Google finance HomePage to show me reports from one particular country only? For example, can i customize the industry variables(can i select these variables also?) to show the output only for stocks listed in Hong Kong or India (This would be asking for too much, but can i have two blocks in the same webpage, one for Hong Kong and one for India)?

2) Again, can I have tickers for some few selected stocks on my iGoogle page?

3)To extend it further, Can i give a formula and select stocks on the basis of that criteria from an exchange of my choice (For example, if I want a list of companies listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and having Sales > HKD 100 million, PAT>10 million and Free Cash Flows > 5 million etc.) and then I can compare them with company averages from that particular geography only?

4) I was not able to find any information on the derivatives of stocks listed in Hong Kong(Infact I tried for US stocks as well, but was unsuccessful)? Just as I see the symbols of related companies to compare, can i see the links to related derivatives for a particular stock? (I am, primarily, a derivatives lover)

5)Can I use these charts ir Blogs at my personal blog??

Please help....

Has google made some software like frontpage also??(wherein I can go and make a webpage as per my choice)

It sure would be nice to be able to compare an individual stock to it's sector. The 'compare' tab is gone when viewing the sector chart, and I can't add the sector to the 'compare' tab of the stock.

Please make this happen - thanks!

Sector summary - can we customize the values for the thresholds? Right now they seem Hard coded for 0-2%, and 2% and greater. What if I wanted it 5%?
